Buying guide
Choosing the right rear lamps
Rear lamps covers the lights around the back of the car other than the main tail light: lamps set into the rear bumper bar, lamps on the tailgate or boot lid, and rear fog or reversing lamps. Many late model SUVs split their rear lighting this way, with the indicators or reversing lights low in the bumper.
Check the lamp position against your car and compare the photo closely, as left and right units and facelift versions often look similar. Where the lamp is an LED unit, the whole lamp is replaced.
Check these before you order
- Position: rear bumper, tailgate, boot lid or body
- What the lamp does: reverse, fog, indicator or tail
- LED or globe
- Build range and facelift changes
- Left or right hand side
If your build date sits near the start or end of a listed range, send us your VIN through the contact page and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
Left hand is the passenger side and right hand is the driver’s side on Australian-delivered vehicles, viewed from the driver’s seat.
