Choosing the right front bumpers

Most modern front bumpers are a plastic cover over a steel or aluminium reinforcement bar, and the cover is what gets replaced after a nose-in bump. The same model can have several bumper versions depending on the grade and the facelift, so match the openings for fog lights, parking sensors, headlight washers and the tow eye cover against your car.

Bumpers are generally supplied in primer or raw plastic ready for painting. Fog lights, grilles, sensors and brackets transfer from the old bumper unless the listing says otherwise, so check those parts for damage too.
