How we grade parts

Genuine OEM or quality aftermarket, never a mystery

Every listing states which grade you are buying before you add it to the cart, so you can weigh original equipment against price on your own terms.

  • Fitment written into every product title, down to the build month and series
  • Left and right hand sides listed separately so you order the side you need
  • Part numbers shown on every listing for cross-checking against your old part
Genuine OEM Original equipment The same part specification the vehicle left the factory with.
Quality aftermarket Certified replacement Built to match the original fit and function at a lower price.
264 models Covered across passenger cars, utes, vans and four wheel drives.
Small and bulky freight Bumpers, bonnets and panels crated for transport, not boxed loose.

Ordering the right part

Three checks, no guesswork

Our fitment guarantee
1

Start with your vehicle

Pick the make and model in the finder, or search the part number from your old part. Every result is narrowed to parts listed for that vehicle.

2

Match it to your build

Check the series code and the build month range in the title, and choose the left or right hand side. Not sure? Send us your VIN and we will confirm it.

3

We pack it to arrive straight

Small parts travel in cartons. Bumpers, bonnets and panels are crated and braced, then sent to your home, workshop or depot.

Why new parts

New replacement parts, without the wrecker hunt

A second-hand part from a wrecker has an unknown history. It may carry old damage, a faded lens, worn bushes or a bent mount, and there is rarely a way to return it. Ringing around yards for the right series can take days.

Every part in this store is new. Each listing names the vehicle it suits, down to the series and build months, states whether it is genuine OEM or quality aftermarket, and shows its part number so you can compare it with the part coming off the car.

That makes a repair something you can plan: pick the part, check it against your build, and have it delivered to your door or your mechanic.

About Auto Parts Australia

Questions

Before you order

Ask the parts team
How do I know a part will fit my car?

Each product title states the make, model, series and build month range the part suits, and the product page repeats it in the vehicle fitment table. Compare the part number with the part you are replacing, or send us your VIN through the contact page and we will check it before you order.

What is the difference between Genuine OEM and Quality Aftermarket?

Genuine OEM parts match the specification the vehicle left the factory with. Quality aftermarket parts are built to match the original fit and function at a lower price. The grade is shown on every listing before you add it to the cart.

Do you deliver Australia-wide?

Yes. Freight is calculated at checkout from your delivery postcode and the size of the part, so you see the real cost before you pay.

How are large panels and bumpers sent?

Bumpers, bonnets, guards and doors travel as bulky freight. They are crated and braced before dispatch rather than boxed loose. Delivery to a business address with someone on site is usually the simplest option.

What if the part does not fit?

If a part does not fit the vehicle it is listed against, our fitment guarantee covers the return. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply. The returns page sets out the full conditions.

What does Sold Out mean on a listing?

The part is in our catalogue but not in stock right now, so it cannot be ordered. Contact us with the part number and we will tell you when it is expected back.
