Choosing the right doors
A replacement door usually arrives as a bare shell. The glass, window regulator, lock, handles, trim and wiring move across from your old door, which makes door replacement a job for a panel shop in most cases.
Doors are specific to the body style and position, so a front left door for a sedan will not fit the wagon, and sliding doors on vans and people movers vary with the electric sliding option. This category also includes door check straps and small door fittings, listed by position.
