Choosing gas struts for Toyota vehicles

Gas struts lose pressure over time, which is why a bonnet or tail gate stops staying open. They are usually replaced in pairs so both sides carry the same load.

On Australian-delivered vehicles the left hand side is the passenger side and the right hand side is the driver’s side, viewed from the driver’s seat.
